As part of our An Artistic Eye Series we asked Jesse Jones: how did she become an artist? What is the best thing about being an artist? What do they do all day?
In conversation with Georgina Jackson
Yuri Pattison is considered to be one of the most influential young artists addressing the impact of digital technology on both infrastructure and everyday life. Pattison works across video, sculpture and online platforms to explore the political, material and social consequences of the rapid development of technology. His works move across platforms and materialities, connecting off- and online spaces. In this conversation our Director, Georgina Jackson talks to Yuri Pattison about, amongst other things, their collaboration on the engine exhibition.
