Race, place and belonging: food and heritage

In this workshop, facilitated by Éireann and I, we invite you to share and celebrate your cultural food practices. Our food practices can be a ritual, an act of celebration, and a way to document our family histories.

Participants will prepare and bring a dish and a corresponding food story. Using various artistic mediums we will consider the multiple ways to record and share the memories associated with our favourite foods. The workshop will end with a shared meal between participants. This event is open to migrants and ethnic minorities exclusively.

Taking place on the Saturday 3 September 2022 from 5 pm – 8 pm. This event is open to migrants and ethnic minorities exclusively. Further details on how to participate will available from Thursday 14 July 2022.
