The Douglas Hyde is a registered charity and we rely on public funding and the support of DHG Friends & Patrons to realise our programmes.
Our Friends & Patrons are a vibrant community of people who support our work through regular donations. This support is vital in helping us to champion the work of artists and to connect ideas in artists’ work with audiences through talks, events, performances and exciting activities for young people interested in developing their own creativity. All of our exhibitions and events are free and everyone is welcome.
To say thank you we offer a range of benefits, including invitations to bespoke events throughout the year ranging from Preview Drinks, studio visits with artists, Director-led tours of our exhibitions, and exclusive install breakfasts to gain a behind the scenes look at exhibitions in progress.
