Study Notes

The Quickening

This resource pack has been designed to supplement a self-guided or guided visit to Deirdre O’Mahony’s exhibition The Quickening.

It is intended to assist students in preparing for the Today’s World question as part of their Leaving Certificate Art Exam. Today’s World aims to foster and nurture critical thinking around visual art, encouraging students to decode, decipher and make meaning from a range of art-led experiences that they can study locally, nationally, internationally or virtually.
