To celebrate this milestone, we have invited a panel of artists who have had major solo exhibitions at the Gallery to take part in a discussion loosely based around their memories of and reflections on the space over the past four decades. The talk will be chaired by academic and art writer Caoimhín Mac Giolla Léith, who served on the Board of The Douglas Hyde for many years.

We look forward to hearing contributions from:

Gerard Byrne
Willie Doherty
Sam Keogh
Sean Lynch
Isabel Nolan
Mairead O’hEocha

Finally and to close the evening, we’re delighted to welcome Gadget and the Cloud, the Cork based DJ and producer, who will play a set of ambient lo-fi electronica.

The evening is kindly sponsored by O’Hara’s Irish Craft Beers.
