Discover the world of Liliane Tomasko’s artistic practice through her insightful essay delving into her distinctive formal approach to painting and the nuanced choices that define her unique visual language.
As part of our Response Series The Douglas Hyde is delighted to present an Artist’s Response where musician Rian Treanor will respond to Josh Tonsfeldt’s work and his current exhibition in Gallery 2 by facilitating a participatory music performance.
Using software created by Rian Treanor you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other participants to work as a collective and create a communal sound piece.
At different points throughout the day, people in different time zones will come together and contribute to the durational performance that brings together groups from Dublin, New York, Rotherham, and elsewhere. Anyone is welcome to join. Please share the link to this page and invite others to take part too.
To take part in-person drop in by the gallery anytime between 12 pm and 6 pm.
If you wish to take part remotely, also between 12 pm and 6 pm, please click on the link in this section (available on Thursday, 4 May).
