Sinéad Onóra Kennedy
A Gallery 3 Project
As part of our ongoing Gallery 3 series of artistic interventions around Trinity College, The Douglas Hyde will present a series of drawings, stories and traditional music performances by Sinéad Onóra Kennedy. Sinéad’s small, detailed and painstakingly executed drawings are visual representations of her memories of hearing particular pieces of music. Their accompanying stories, also intricately conveyed in handwritten script, recall the specifics of the people, places and feelings from which the memory is derived.
Artists present us with new perspectives on the world we live in. Explore the exciting ideas behind our programmes, hear more from the artists we work with and discover new ways of engaging with art.
