Cruinniú na nÓg 2025

The Douglas Hyde is delighted to share a new film, The Heart of Us, produced by participants in the Talk About Youth Project at St Andrew’s Resource Centre and artist Sophie Béhal.

Developed through a series of stop-motion animation workshops led by Sophie, participants experimented with collage and animation to make moving image artworks. The group drew on their recent publication The Heart of Us to explore themes of inclusion and belonging.

Also showing on our screen on Nassau Street, this film is presented in collaboration with St Andrew’s Resource Centre and forms part of Cruinniú na nÓg an annual, national day of free creative activities for children and young people, taking place on Saturday 7 June 2025.
